We have quickly gained a large following and worldwide customers. When my wife became pregnant with our son, I searched high and low for a pregnancy gift for her. I wanted a meaningful pregnancy gift that would benefit both my wife and our unborn child all in one. All I could find was either a gift for pregnant women or the baby after they are born. My search for the perfect gift changed our lives.
I spoke to my mother about my dilemma of finding a keepsake for the special mother to be woman in my life. That she would would cherish and love, rather than just a generic off the shelf gift. And this is how I discovered the wonderful story behind the Harmony Ball. My mother told me her mother passed one onto her when she was pregnant with me and my sister. And she then in turn passed it onto my sister when she was pregnant and expecting her twins.
Things really got started after I discovered and loved this unique product so much, I was sure everyone else would too. Now I had the dilemma of finding one, and so began my search for a manufacturer. I had previous experience in the jewellery business, having an already established e-commerce jewellery business. I wanted our USP to be our price coupled with a quality product. We finally after what seemed like forever searching found a fantastic manufacturer. After months of requesting samples, emailing and discussions on Skype at 3am due to the time differences between the UK and Hong Kong, deciding on designs, choosing a logo, we where finally confident enough that we where ready to launch. And we have never looked back since, the only problem we have encountered is finding enough hours in the day to fit everything in!

Harmony Ball Company was created when we discovered the wonderful story of the Mexican Bola, sometimes also known as an Angel Caller. Its a chiming pendant traditionally worn by pregnant women in Mexico to bond with their unborn babies. A simply idea that dates back hundreds of years, but one that is still cherished by Mums to be today. The company was then created with and inspired out of love.
